While having a number of relevant, quality inbound links is important, the best practice for these is to have the anchor text (that is, the actual text of the link) relative to your site&#039;s industry/topic/page. For example, having an inbound link to our site here at Forge that says, &quot;SEO Services&quot; is better compared to an inbound link that says, &quot;internet company&quot; because it shows the search engines exactly what our company&#039;s website is about.

However, you didn&#039;t mention anything about the value of sculpting anchor text for SEO when doing all of these link building techniques and I think that is really critical when first starting. A lot of the potential with link building is having anchor text for your topic that links back to your site, that way search engines can relate that text to your site.</description>
